Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the cost of weapons during the war has already amounted to $320 billion, with $200 billion coming from international partners.

The head of state said this during a meeting with journalists, according to Ukrinform.

“We have a very clear situation. The war has cost us $320 billion: $120 billion of that comes from us, the people of Ukraine, the taxpayers, and $200 billion from the United States and the European Union. This is the cost of weapons. This is the weapons package — $320 billion,” Zelenskyy said.

He also said that Ukraine war expenditure figures are “unfortunately very different” compared to those of the United States.

According to Zelenskyy, the U.S. has allocated $67 billion in security assistance and $31.5 billion as direct financial assistance to the Ukrainian budget.

U.S. President Donald Trump recently expressed concerns about the aid provided to Kyiv, claiming, “We gave them, I believe, $350 billion… Where is all the money that’s been given? Where is it going? I’ve never seen an accounting of it. We give hundreds of billions of dollars. I don’t see any accounting.”
