Zelenskyy honors memory of Atatürk in Ankara

At the start of his visit to Türkiye, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid tribute to the first president of the country, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

The head of state shared this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Ankara. At the beginning of our visit to Türkiye, we honored the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the country’s first president, whose legacy remains an important part of Türkiye’s history and values,” Zelenskyy stated.

As Ukrinform previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife, Olena Zelenska, arrived in Türkiye yesterday for an official visit.

Today, the head of state visited the Ukrainian embassy and met with representatives of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar communities.

President Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska also took part in the opening ceremony of the newly built complex of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Türkiye.
