Zelenskyy arrives in UK to meet with PM and King

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the UK to attend the European Political Community Summit in London as well as meet with His Majesty King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

He announced it on X.

“IThe countries of the European area are gathering for the fourth time at the European Political Community Summit to discuss common issues and challenges. I have arrived in the UK to participate in the Summit, hold bilateral meetings with partners, and sign new security agreements,” Zelenskyy wrote on his account.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the trip envisages a major emphasis on defence issues. During it, he will sign an intergovernmental agreement on support for the Ukrainian defense and industrial complex, discuss future defense cooperation, and expand Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Zelenskyy was welcomed by Valerii Zaluzhnyi who has already gotten down to business as Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK.
