Zelenskyy announces Poland enabled swifter delivery of F-16s

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had reported a prolific meeting regarding F-16s with Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the UK.

He stated this on X on July 19.

“Today, we have a positive decision from the Polish government on a specific issue, which will allow Ukraine to receive F-16 jets sooner,” Zelenskyy announced.

However, neither Volodymyr Zelenskyy nor Donald Tusk further elaborated on the agreement between the states, presumably for secuity issues. It can be suggested the decision involves logistics issues.

On July 18, Ukrainian President met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the European political community summit in the United Kingdom to discuss bolstering Ukraine’s defense.

Earlier, media reported that Ukraine is looking forward to receving 6 F-16 figther jets this summer.
