UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer shared that he spent the entire morning discussing a “victory plan” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As reported by Sky News Starmer and Zelenskyy met on Thursday morning at Downing Street.
The British Prime Minister also hosted NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Welcoming Rutte, Starmer mentioned that he and Zelenskyy “spent the entire morning discussing the victory plan.”
Rutte, in turn, stated, “It’s about Ukraine, but also about defending the West and how we remain safe.”
Additionally, President Zelenskyy is scheduled to visit Paris on Thursday, where he will meet French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
Informal reports have also indicated that Zelenskyy is expected in Berlin on Friday for talks with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The visit to Berlin became known following the cancellation of the “Ramstein” meeting on October 12 due to changes in U.S. President Joe Biden’s schedule. It remains unclear whether the planned leaders’ summit will be rescheduled.
