Thanks to such an initiative, people from all over the world can join in helping Ukraine.
Currently, United24 (abbreviated – U24) includes the fundraising platform under the same name @u24.gov.ua. Its goal is to increase donations to support Ukraine, in particular by accumulating charitable funding from international partners, donors and public figures.
Areas of assistance
Donations are directed along three directions:
- Defense and Demining
- Medical Aid
- Rebuild Ukraine
The funds raised under the Rebuild Ukraine direction will be used to reconstruct infrastructure, including roads, bridges, airports and ports.
How does the platform work?
United24 provides the ability to make a donation in one click from anywhere in the world.
All funds are sent to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine, assigned to the relevant ministries – the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Who can help?
United24 aims to unite the world to support Ukraine, from governments to international foundations, from industrial giants to fashion brands, from movie and music stars to public and political figures, as well as citizens of different countries.
Control and reporting
The Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Infrastructure are responsible for the effective use of funds.
Reporting on the allocation and distribution of funds will be provided by ministries once a week.
Deloitte Consulting and Auditing in Ukraine, which is part of the international Deloitte network, is joining the United24 platform. One of the world leaders in the industry, which is part of the so-called the “Big Four” of audit companies, will quarterly review the consolidated report of all ministries.
In addition, the initiative team will cover reporting on the United24 platform and on the initiative’s official social media pages.
In addition to the fundraising platform, new projects and programs will be added to the United24 initiative in the near future.
