The plane with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on board has landed at Tegel Airport in Berlin, Germany, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
Zelensky will start his first official visit to Germany on June 18, 2019 with a meeting with Bundestag President Wolfgang Schaeuble.
At 12:30pm local time, an official ceremony is scheduled to take place before the office of the German chancellor with military honors, after which Angela Merkel and Volodymyr Zelensky will have a working lunch. A joint press conference is scheduled for 1:45pm.
Bellevue Palace will host a meeting between the Ukrainian leader and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Meetings with a number of German politicians are also to be held.
The program of the official visit will end with a working dinner with the management of leading German companies operating in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian delegation will leave for Kyiv late in the day.
