In the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, students are holding a protest on Rustaveli Avenue in front of the Parliament building, expressing their opposition to the results of the October 26 elections published by the Central Election Commission of Georgia.
This is reported by Echo of the Caucasus and transmitted by Ukrinform.
The students arrived at the protest with flags of Georgia and the EU, as well as placards stating that the youth of Georgia chooses Europe over Russia, a European path instead of a return to the Soviet past, as reported by Georgian media.
In conversations with journalists, they emphasize that they will not accept the reality presented to them by the ruling party, “Georgian Dream,” and stress that the government is taking away their freedom, democracy, and right to vote.
