{"id":909726,"date":"2024-04-09T17:38:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T14:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/?p=909726"},"modified":"2024-04-09T17:06:37","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T14:06:37","slug":"we-cannot-deny-reality-europe-should-prepare-for-war-josep-borrell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/we-cannot-deny-reality-europe-should-prepare-for-war-josep-borrell\/","title":{"rendered":"We cannot deny reality: Europe should prepare for war &#8211; Josep Borrell"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell admits war in Europe could be a real problem even if it will not begin tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euractiv.com\/section\/defence-and-security\/news\/europe-needs-more-funds-for-defence-as-wider-war-no-longer-a-fantasy-borrell-warns\/\">according to Euractiv<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWar is certainly looming around us [\u2026], and a high-intensity, conventional war in Europe is no longer a fantasy,\u201d Borrell said in a speech at an economic forum in Brussels, Euractiv reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Borrell&#8217;s statement concludes the previous remarks by Baltic and Nordic countries, they have been voicing such concerns in the recent months.
