{"id":887237,"date":"2024-03-06T15:16:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T13:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/?p=887237"},"modified":"2024-03-07T13:37:09","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T11:37:09","slug":"the-first-meeting-on-first-joint-institution-between-nato-and-ukraine-took-place-in-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/the-first-meeting-on-first-joint-institution-between-nato-and-ukraine-took-place-in-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"First meeting on first joint institution between NATO and Ukraine took place in Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On March 5, the first meeting of the project team to launch the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) took place in Bydgoszcz, Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.gov.ua\/en\/news\/u-polshchi-pochynaie-pratsiuvaty-komanda-iz-zapusku-jatec-pershoi-v-istorii-spilnoi-instytutsii-ukrainy-ta-nato\">was reported<\/a> by government&#8217;s press service<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna addressed the participants and thanked everyone involved in the project, the hosting Polish side in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am happy to welcome the first event of the project team that will fill this new platform with working mechanisms, content and joint activities. We see the Centre, along with the mechanisms of the NATO-Ukraine Council, as an additional structural element for our integration into the Alliance. Therefore, it is very important that JATEC is an effective institution, legally and practically integrated into the wider NATO structure,\u201d the Deputy Prime Minister said in her video address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre\u2019s work will be focused on achieving full interoperability between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its main goals have been already formulated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>joint analysis and synthesis of experience in defence and security;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>improving the system of training and military education;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>promoting interoperability;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>development of the capabilities of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to found JATEC was made as a result of the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of defense ministers on February 15, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/nato-countries-are-quietly-preparing-for-the-possibility-that-russia-could-start-a-nuclear-war-what-actions-are-they-taking\/\">NATO countries are quietly preparing for the possibility that Russia could start a nuclear war \u2013 what actions are they taking?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 5, the first meeting of the project team to launch &#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":887263,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[49,36415],"tags":[],"sources":[],"class_list":["post-887237","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","category-11473-news-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
