The President of Ukraine addressed the European Council in response to them agreeing to establish the Ukraine Facility program with 50 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ukraine Facility program will cover four years of funding Ukraine and guarantees Ukraine will continue its fight against Russia’s aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This is a clear signal that Ukraine will withstand and that Europe will withstand. It is also really important that this decision was taken unanimously by all of you, all 27 member states. It is yet another clear sign of your strong unity and support of Ukraine,” said the President of Ukraine, addressing the European Council. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zelenskyy also brought up the North Korean threat to Ukraine within the context of global competition as Russia has already used North Korean missiles to attack Ukrainian civillians, emphasizing the assistance to Ukraine is even more crucial now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Russia\u02bcs aggression against Europe, initiated by Moscow on the European front, has now been bolstered by another Russian accomplice, namely artillery shells and ballistic missiles from North Korea. They are already terrorizing our cities, in addition to the Iranian Shaheds that are destroying our civilian infrastructure. Intelligence confirms that Russia will receive a million artillery shells from Pyongyang,” said Zelenskyy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also invited the leaders to participate in Global Peace Summit preparations as they’ve already begun and require engagement from the entire Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
