{"id":771626,"date":"2023-09-04T10:43:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-04T07:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/?p=771626"},"modified":"2023-09-04T07:35:18","modified_gmt":"2023-09-04T04:35:18","slug":"ukrainian-day-at-the-venice-film-festival-2023-for-support-and-solidarity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/ukrainian-day-at-the-venice-film-festival-2023-for-support-and-solidarity\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukrainian Day at the Venice Film Festival 2023 for Support and Solidarity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the 80th Venice International Film Festival will host Ukrainian Day, just like last year, to reaffirm La Biennale di Venezia&#8217;s solidarity with Ukraine and its people in light of the tragedy they are experiencing, as reported&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.labiennale.org\/en\/news\/ukrainian-day-biennale-cinema-2023-wednesday-6-september\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">on the Biennale&#8217;s website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a continuation of Ukrainian Day, which was held on the Lido in 2022, and the initiatives organized on the occasion of Biennale Arte 2022 and Biennale Architettura 2023, taking place at the Giardini and Arsenale venues, <a href=\"https:\/\/thegaze.media\/news\/ukrainian-day-at-the-venice-film-festival-2023-for-support-and-solidarity\">The Gaze<\/a> wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Events organized to celebrate Ukraine Day on Wednesday, September 6, will take place from 10:00 to 12:00 at Spazio Incontri Venice Production Bridge (Hotel Excelsior, Venice Lido) and will focus on both the current and future state of the Ukrainian film industry within the context affecting the entire country&#8217;s population, as well as strategies for support and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first meeting titled &#8220;Ukrainian Film Industry During the War&#8221; will be held from 10:00 to 11:00. After greetings and introductory remarks by Biennale President Roberto Cicutto and the director of the 80th festival, Alberto Barbera, Marina Kuderchuk, the head of Ukrainian State Film Agency, will speak. The session will be moderated by Volodymyr Ostapchuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second meeting, titled &#8220;Shooting in Ukraine: Support and Collaboration,&#8221; will take place at 11:00 to 12:00. Speakers will include Artem Koliubaiev (Chair of the Cinematography Council, Producer), Viktoriia Yarmoshchuk (Chair of the Ukrainian Film Association, Producer), Serhii Lavreniuk (Chair of the Association of Film Industry of Ukraine, Producer), Andrii Nohin (Chair of the NGO &#8220;UkrKinoFest,&#8221; Producer), and Philip Azule (Director).
