The front line from Sloviansk is at a distance of 25-30 km. To date, the enemy has the ability to fire at the city only with S-300 missiles, he does not fire at it with cannon artillery. During the shelling of Sloviansk on April 14, 15 residents of the city were killed, another 27 received various injuries. This was announced today, on April 19, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by the chairman of the Slavic city military administration, Vadim Lyakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnly from one skyscraper, 15 people were pulled out from under the rubble, five of them were alive, 10, unfortunately, died. At that moment, two headquarters were working: one was looking for people, the other was accommodating. In principle, people who lost their homes moved in with their relatives, and some moved out. Today we are considering the option of their resettlement, but I see that most people are determined to leave the city, but so far they are not doing this, \u201dhe said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lyakh noted that the Russian occupiers shelled Sloviansk several times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust a month ago, life in Slovyansk, compared to other cities in the Donetsk region, was calmer, in fact there were no shelling, if any, then on the outskirts, there were no arrivals in the central densely populated part. Everything changed literally two or three weeks ago,\u201d the head of the administration said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, the Russian invaders shell the city both at night and during the day, when many citizens are on the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe number of dead civilians in Sloviansk is approaching 50, more than 100 injured,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vadym Lyakh is sure that people will be able to save their lives only if they evacuate to safer settlements in Ukraine, but the townspeople are in no hurry to leave. Approximately 5,000 children remain in the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
