Today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy<\/strong> is introducing a bill on multiple citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of state said this during a speech to the Verkhovna Rada with an annual message on the situation in Ukraine, UA<\/a><\/strong> writes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, an important component of our international policy is the support of world Ukrainians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know how important the issue of multiple citizenship is for Ukrainians living in the United States, Canada and the EU. Today I am submitting the relevant bill to the parliament. There are 65 million of us\u201d \u2013 Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that for the first time Ukrainians from all over the world will not feel like a diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c[It is important to be] not just people of Ukrainian origin, but [to have] Ukrainian citizenship. To be Ukrainians” \u2013 the head of state added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier it was reported that by December 10, the President will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the economic passport of Ukrainians.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
