{"id":460098,"date":"2021-11-24T11:06:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-24T09:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/?p=460098"},"modified":"2021-11-24T15:26:31","modified_gmt":"2021-11-24T13:26:31","slug":"the-state-border-guard-service-has-launched-a-special-operation-on-the-border-with-belarus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/the-state-border-guard-service-has-launched-a-special-operation-on-the-border-with-belarus\/","title":{"rendered":"The State Border Guard Service has launched a special operation on the border with Belarus"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On November 23, a special border operation \u201c<strong>Polissya<\/strong>\u201d began on the border of Ukraine with the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was reported by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UA<\/a><\/strong> with reference to the<a href=\"https:\/\/mvs.gov.ua\/press-center\/news\/u-ramkax-posilennya-oxoroni-kordonu-z-bilorussyu-rozpocalasya-specialna-prikordonna-operaciya\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special operation is coordinated by the State Border Guard Service and is carried out jointly with the forces of the National Guard, the National Police, the Armed Forces and other involved reserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, the threat of a migration crisis and the likelihood of redirecting migrant flows to Ukraine remain. Therefore, law enforcement agencies are working together to increase the border protection system in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn order to further respond to the possible complication of the situation, a joint special border operation has been agreed with the interacting state structures and a corresponding plan has been worked out. And last night it (Operation Polissya, ed.) Officially began\u201d \u2013 said <strong>Volodymyr Nikiforenko<\/strong>, First Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main task of the special operation is to prevent illegal migrants from crossing the state border and entering Ukraine.
