The filming of the war drama \u201cMyrnyi-21<\/strong>\u201d directed by Akhtem Seitablayev<\/strong> has begun in Kyiv<\/strong>. The film is being created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is reported by UA<\/a> with reference to Ukrainian State Film Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film <\/strong>is based on real events, which took place in the east <\/strong>of Ukraine in June 2014<\/strong>. The first scenes were filmed at the St. Michael’s Cathedral<\/strong> in the center of Kyiv. The director and producer of the film Akhtem Seitablayev<\/strong> broke a plate in honor of the first day<\/strong> of shooting, at the same place on Mykhaylivska<\/strong> Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film has a powerful cast \u2013 most of the actors have already worked with the director in his previous films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film will feature: Honored Artist of Ukraine Viktor Zhdanov<\/strong> and Roman Yasinovsky<\/strong> (\u201cCyborgs<\/strong>\u201d), Honored Artist of Ukraine Andriy Saminin<\/strong>, Andriy Mostrenko<\/strong>, Oleksii Tritenko<\/strong> (\u201cHaytarma<\/strong>\u201d), Lorena Kolibabchuk<\/strong> and Maksym\u00a0Devizorov<\/strong> (\u201cNumbers<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in the film will appear: the star of the military dramas “Cherkasy<\/strong>“, “Kruty 1918<\/strong>“, “Ilovaisk 2014 Battalion Donba<\/strong>s” Evhen Lamakh, Pavlo Li (“Shtolny<\/strong>a”, “Shadows of unforgotten ancestors<\/strong>“, “SelfieParty<\/strong>“), People’s Artist of Ukraine Larysa Rusnak, Serhii Frolov, Maria Shtofa and Zoya Vlasenko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe actors are faced with the daunting task of portraying characters based on biographies of real people<\/strong>. The image of the main character, the commander of the border detachment, Alexander Avdeev<\/strong>, is based on the personality of Sergei Vasilyevich Deyneko<\/strong>, the head of the State Border<\/strong> Guard Service of Ukraine, who in June 2014<\/strong> led the Lugansk <\/strong>border detachment. It was the detachment entered into an armed confrontation with pro-Russian terrorists, and its story became the basis for the film “Myrnyi-21<\/strong>“, the Ukrainian State Film Agency<\/strong> reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The director and producer of the film Akhtem Seitablayev<\/strong> told some details of the \u201cMyrnyi-21\u201d script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI earned about the feat of Serhii Deyneko and the Lugansk <\/strong>border detachment in 2014. This was the year when I saw the annexation of Crimea with my own eyes and the schemes that were behind it. The peninsula almost bloodlessly passed into the hands of Russia <\/strong>through the local factor. At least, it was he who figured as one of the main reasons in the information space. In Luhansk, the situation was similar: 85%<\/strong> of the personnel of the Luhansk border detachment were locals. This land was native for them, and the people around were the closest in the world. But, unlike the Crimean<\/strong> scenario, the border guards remained faithful to the oath and defended the statehood of Ukraine <\/strong>despite blood ties and all the tricks of the Russian special services\u201d \u2013 Akhtem Seitablayev told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filming of the war drama “Myrnyi-21” will take place in Kyiv <\/strong>and in the military unit of the town of Vasylkiv<\/strong>, Kyiv region (Joint Training Center of the Air Force). Premiere planned on April 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
