The Cabinet of Ministers<\/strong> made a decision to ensure the continuity of the preparation of the Ukrainian national team<\/strong> for participation <\/strong>in the international sports competition \u201cGames of the Unconquered<\/strong>\u201d in 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cabinet of Ministers decided <\/strong>to provide ongoing training for the Ukrainian national team to participate in international sports competitions<\/strong> “Invictus Games<\/strong>” in 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs<\/a>, UA<\/a> informs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe event <\/strong>has already been postponed <\/strong>twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>. Games that were supposed to take place this year in The Hague<\/strong> by the decision of the Council<\/strong> and the Foundation for International Sports Competitions<\/strong> “Invictus Games” are scheduled for the period from 16 to 22 April 2022<\/strong>. Despite this, the training camps of Ukrainian veterans<\/strong> continue, because defenders need to keep physical shape and show good results. The government decision<\/strong> will ensure quality training <\/strong>of the Ukrainian national team. Our team <\/strong>will represent Ukraine in 8 sports<\/strong>, in particular<\/strong>, in swimming<\/strong>, running<\/strong>, shot put<\/strong>, archery<\/strong>, wheelchair basketball<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 the message says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister <\/strong>of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yuliia Laputina<\/strong> said that these competitions are traditional for soldiers <\/strong>who suffered during the defense of the state, but found the strength and will to join the competition <\/strong>to achieve sports results<\/strong>, as well as to win over themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe support <\/strong>physical culture and sports <\/strong>events in every possible way, we are proud of the courage <\/strong>and motivation <\/strong>of the participants<\/strong>. The example of \u201cInvictus Games<\/strong>\u201d helps many defenders and defenders of Ukraine to gain victories <\/strong>over their own life circumstances\u201d \u2013 Laputina <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
