The <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/travel\/article\/best-aviation-museums\/index.html\">list<\/a>, in no particular order, also includes museums from the United States, Australia, Poland and China, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Oleg Antonov State Aviation Museum is operated by the\u00a0National\u00a0Aviation University. Most of the aircraft on display are from Soviet vintage including the Tu-104 built by the Tupolev company. The Tu-104 was the world&#8217;s first passenger jet airplane.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-36052 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/630_360_1551692844-717-e1551713314110.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"314\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Professor Felix Yanovsky, head of electronics at the National Aviation University, had this to say about the plane according the CNN article:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On September 15, 1956, a very important event for civil aviation occurred.\u00a0The world&#8217;s first jet airliner, the Tupolev-104, made its first passenger flight between Moscow and Irkutsk.
