Only Russian scoundrels, who hold nothing sacred, could deliberately damage the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO World Heritage site under special protection,\u201d Sybiha said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n   <p>He added that Kyiv expects a \u201cstrong response\u201d from international institutions and world capitals.<\/p>\n    <blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe are urgently initiating all relevant procedures within UNESCO and all other international mechanisms, demanding an immediate and adequate response to this act of state barbarism. We expect a decisive reaction from international institutions and capitals. No vague statements, silence, or weak measures. Concrete action is needed to stop Russian barbarism,\u201d the foreign minister emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n   <p>During the massive attack on Kyiv, a fire broke out on the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
