President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UATV English <\/a>reports.<\/p>\n

The Head of State condemned the recent strikes from Iran against the UAE. The President of Ukraine emphasized that everything necessary must be done to ensure real protection of lives in the Gulf region, which is of global importance.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgainst this backdrop, it is critical that our teams continue to work closely together in the area of security. I was glad to hear that Ukrainian expertise is truly helping build reliable protection for lives. We discussed continuing this work,\u201d Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The President thanked Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his assistance in bringing Ukrainian people back from Russian captivity, and Ukraine counts on this work to continue.<\/p>\n

The leaders discussed joint energy projects. Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the UAE for the fact that the agreements reached are being implemented on the basis of reciprocity, and that Ukraine is also receiving the support it needs, including in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

The parties also discussed other potential projects in various areas.<\/p>\n
