{"id":1344715,"date":"2026-04-09T15:33:16","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T12:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/?p=1344715"},"modified":"2026-04-09T15:33:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T12:33:20","slug":"volodymyr-zelenskyy-announced-a-trilateral-meeting-on-ending-the-war-in-ukraine-format-yet-to-be-determined","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/volodymyr-zelenskyy-announced-a-trilateral-meeting-on-ending-the-war-in-ukraine-format-yet-to-be-determined\/","title":{"rendered":"Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a trilateral meeting on ending the war in Ukraine \u2014 format yet to be determined"},"content":{"rendered":" <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A trilateral meeting on ending the war in Ukraine will take place in the near future, although its format has not yet been finalized, <a href=\"https:\/\/uatv.ua\/en\/\">UATV English<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n   <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated this during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.<\/p>\n   <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEnding the war and achieving peace in Ukraine is the number one issue and the number one task for me, for our negotiating team, and for Ukraine as a whole. We are currently in a trilateral process of various agreements. Due to the war in the Middle East, some of our meetings were postponed. The latest one was held in a video format. There was a conversation with representatives of the group of the President of the United States, and we agreed that in the near future there will be a trilateral meeting, or there will be a format where the American group will come to us and then likely travel to neighboring countries,\u201d Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n   <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, work is currently ongoing to refine the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine, as key questions remain unresolved: how to finance the Ukrainian army after the war, how to obtain air defense systems needed both for Europe and the Middle East, and \u201cthe most difficult question \u2014 how the United States will respond to renewed aggression from Russia if such aggression occurs.\u201d<\/p>\n   <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Statements from Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine:<\/p>\n    <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ukraine will not be left without fuel. The country has reached agreements with several partners on reserve fuel supplies for at least a year in case of a global shortage.<\/li>\n   <li>The \u20ac90 billion in assistance will definitely be unblocked \u2014 this is our lifeline, this is \u201coxygen\u201d for the army.<\/li>\n   <li>Russia does not have the forces to capture Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka by the end of April<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n   <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As reported, on February 16\u201317 another round of trilateral talks took place in Geneva.
