Finnish President Alexander Stubb, speaking at the Helsinki Security Forum, expressed doubt that Russia would launch the same kind of drone raid on his country as it did on Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was reported by the Finnish broadcaster Yle.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stubb stressed that the entry of Russian drones into Polish territory was a test of what can be done to the West in the so-called \u201cgrey zone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are being tested through directed migration, damage to undersea cables, and now through drones in Poland. We are being tested to see under what conditions Article 4 of the NATO Charter is triggered and how the Alliance responds,\u201d Stubb reflected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to him, this may also have been a signal to Ukraine\u2019s Western allies that they need to take care of their own air defenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stubb believes that similar drone attacks are unlikely to be expected in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Finnish president assured that Finland is sufficiently prepared for possible drone strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that on September 19, Estonia, a NATO member, reported an incursion of Russian MiG-31 fighter jets into its airspace for 12 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a reminder, on September 11 Stubb paid a visit to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
