Swift, true and sharp interview with simple questions and sincere answers with our guest \u2013\u00a0Mr. Glen Grant<\/strong>, the British officer and former adviser to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 There is no ceasefire, there is no minerals deal, as this is an extortion. Obviously, there are Russian missiles and bombs every day, and our children and soldiers and civilians die, not to mention soldiers on the front line, of course. I’ve recently watched an interview with the former Soviet minister who lives in America today\u2014well, of course\u2014so he said Ukraine should get itself a nuclear weapon now and not listen to anyone. Can you comment on that?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 Yeah. Um, I think before we get a nuclear weapon, because it’s going to take a few years, uh, more importantly, it’s to\u2014it’s to actually sort out the whole defense system. Um, I mean, going back to what you just said about, you know, the war is continuing, there’s no peace. I mean, the\u2014the\u2014the deal from the deal from, uh, Trump is, frankly, I\u2014I call it the USA deal of shame because I don’t think in\u2014in modern times any country\u2014no, in\u2014in any country\u2014has ever asked another country to do something like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And, I mean, it’s disgusting. I’m sorry, but it’s disgusting. But I mean, what\u2014what it does, I mean, what it does do is it brings you forward to your question of, you know, do we need nuclear\u2014well, what you’re saying is, do\u2014do we need a nuclear deterrent? But it’s too late for that now. For this war, there is no question now. Maybe afterwards, because there are lots of countries now that are going to say, ‘You cannot rely on us now.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n I mean, what I would say: USA is not Trump. Trump is not USA.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The activities in the U.S. are bringing out an awful lot of, um, world-class people who have been quiet, and it’s going to bring a lot more of them to the fore in the\u2014in\u2014in the coming weeks because that\u2014I think that Signal Gate is just the start of the\u2014of the nonsense. I don’t think that that is the end. I think that once a lot of those people, especially in Congress, actually hear about the deal of shame, then there’s going to be a lot more unhappiness because they will realize that they are shamed with this. And I hope that we can get it into Congress and to any other, uh, good state in America where the\u2014where the governor is\u2014is real and human so that we actually get some political, uh, strength behind Ukraine about this deal because it’s disgusting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 Well, that\u2019s\u2014you know, the Soviet paradigm is still here. That\u2019s what I see. I mean, you know, friends all around, and\u2014and this is totally wrong.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 Yeah, I mean, and the answer to that has been given by you in our previous interviews. You said it clearly, as a professional, that, uh, brigade commanders that know what they are doing somewhere in the middle\u2014not the top, not the\u2014not the soldiers’ level, but officers who’ve been through the actual fighting on the front line\u2014should actually command it, and\u2014and the office of the president should listen to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 Well, all right. Well, last question for tonight: Do you believe, sir, there is any viable way to achieve some sort of a ceasefire, really?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2014 No. I mean, that\u2019s a short, sharp answer. No, not at the moment. I mean, if Russia goes for a ceasefire, then I think some other people are in trouble because it means they\u2014they\u2014they want to do something else. And the only thing that they would do\u2014I mean, if they go for a ceasefire, it\u2019s a ceasefire to do a little something and then to break it and blame Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is exactly what they\u2019re doing already, and we haven\u2019t actually done anything. So, you know, it’s\u2014it\u2019s\u2014they\u2014people don\u2019t understand that they are intent on getting back their position in the\u2014they see it in the world order. And the fact that Trump offers or accepts them having a\u2014an ice hockey match with a banned team, banned by everybody in America\u2014the possibility of Putin, a banned\u2014a war criminal\u2014going to meet Trump in the USA has them ecstatic in Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because they think they’re getting back in. And Putin is getting back in, despite the fact of killing, you know, hundreds of thousands of people and murdering and raping and everything else. And he’s being accepted. So they don’t need a ceasefire.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n
