Ukrainians do not need to create their own Mossad to punish the country’s enemies outside its borders, because “one already exists.” This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO) Kyrylo Budanov in an interview with Reuters, FREEDOM reports.
In the conversation, the journalist of the agency touched upon the subject of mysterious deaths of characters involved in the aggressive war against Ukraine, which is why in the public sphere they began to draw parallels between the Ukrainian and Israeli special services.
“If you are asking about the Mossad, which is known for … eliminating the enemies of its state, then we have done it the way we will do it. We do not need to create anything, because it already exists,” said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It should be noted that earlier the Kremlin called the statements of Budanov “horrible” when he said “we will continue to kill Russians anywhere in the world until the complete victory of Ukraine.”
The Russian occupiers accuse the Ukrainian special services of killings on the territory of the Russian Federation. In April, Budanov was even arrested in absentia in Moscow for “terrorism,” Reuters reports.
Also, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense in an interview gave an assessment of the Russians’ attempt to launch a missile attack on the building of the department he heads.
“This was not their first attempt. But, as you can see, we are here again – in the main rooms of this building. When you were outside, you could see people. Everything works as it should, ”summed up Budanov.
He also stressed that the response to intimidation “will not be long in coming.”
“All those who tried to intimidate us, dreaming that it would bring some kind of effect, you will very soon regret it. Our answer will not keep you waiting. Soon everyone will see everything, ”Budanov said.
Recall that the Mossad (full name – “Intelligence and Special Tasks Office”) is the national intelligence service of Israel. The scope of its activities includes directly intelligence, information gathering, various undercover operations and counter-terrorism operations.
