“This has to stop”: Trump said he would discuss ending the war in Ukraine with Putin and Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy should be ready to reach an agreement with Russian leader Putin to end the war, Trump said. However, he did not specify whether Ukraine should cede territory as part of the negotiations, Reuters writes.
According to Trump, it could take a century to restore the devastated regions.
He claims that the death toll “on both sides” is much higher than previously reported. He also added that “we are trying to stop the war.”
“The number of soldiers being killed on both sides is ‘astronomical.’ I’ve never seen anything like it. We’re doing everything possible—let’s see what comes of it,” stated the newly elected U.S. President.
“We are going to make a little progress, it is difficult, it is unpleasant, it is disgusting,” CNN quotes him as saying.
