Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has provided an update on the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.

Ukraine’s President wrote this on X after he received a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.

“We are advancing in the Kursk region, one to two kilometers in various areas since the beginning of the day. We have captured more than 100 Russian servicemen during this period. I am grateful to everyone involved; this will accelerate the return of our guys and girls home,” Zelenskyy stated.

He also stressed that Ukraine is “not forgetting eastern front for a second” despite the operation in Kursk. Hence, the Ukrainian leader tasked the Commander-in-Chief to provide the direction with all the vital equipment and supplies that come from the partners.

Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine had 74 settlements under its control in the Kursk region.
