After 5 days of in operation, the Donetsk water filtration station has reopened. Its services had been brought to a halt after an attack by Russian-backed militants on April 17th. This was reported by the head of the military-civil administration of Avdiivka, Pavlo Malykhin. According to him, the centralized water supply of the city and Yasynuvate region will be fully restored by the day’s end.

Head of Civil-Military Administration of Avdiivka Pavlo Malykhin stated, “We resumed the work of the station, we are expecting water to reach the city tomorrow. If everything goes as planned, we will turn the water on in the morning. People were safely brought to work. They restarted the station at about 16 o’clock. In the evening we are going to fill our reservoir.”
