President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001, at the Memorial in New York.

This was reported by UA with the reference to the Facebook of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“20 years ago, the largest terrorist attack in the history of the world took the lives of 2,996 people. 12 of them were Ukrainians. Eternal memory to all victims” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Twitter.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived on a working visit to the United States to attend the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The president will address the general debate of the UN General Assembly. Meetings with the leaders of other states and representatives of international organizations are also planned. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with business representatives and investors, as well as with the Ukrainian community in the United States.

To remind, 10 officials will accompany Volodymyr Zelenskyy to New York for the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. The head of state approved the list of the Ukrainian delegation by his order on September 18.
