Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the conversation between the presidents of the United States and Russia

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers positive the fact of yesterday’s conversation between the President of the United States of America Joseph Biden and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, one of the main topics of which was the situation in Donbas and within our state.

“I believe that Ukraine’s victory is that the United States has always supported Ukraine, our sovereignty, our independence, we had bipartisan support. But most importantly, we now see that there is a personal, real reaction and the role of President Biden in resolving this conflict, the war in the east of our country” he said.

The President of Ukraine noted that he will be able to find out the details of the talks tomorrow, December 9, during a telephone conversation with US President Joseph Biden.

To remind,  video call between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 7 was made due to the build-up of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border.
