USS Ross Makes Port in Odesa

The US Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG-71) arrived at the port of Odesa on the morning of December 24, 2019.

At about 10:00 am local time, the destroyer was moored to terminal 1-K at the port of Odesa, reports Ukrinform.

Despite heavy fog, the mooring operation was successful.

On December 15, the USS Ross entered the Black Sea through the Bosphorus becoming the 8th US Navy ship to enter the sea in 2019 and the 30th entry of a NATO warship. 15 of those vessels arrived at the port of Odesa.
