US-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission: Kuleba named three tasks

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held a meeting of the Ukrainian part of the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Commission in implementation of the agreements between Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joseph Biden on September 8.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba spoke about this at an online briefing, informs the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, UA reports.

“The presidents instructed me and my American colleague Antony Blinken to hold a meeting of the Strategic Partnership Commission for the first time in three years. My task as a co-chair is to ensure coordination of efforts to implement the priority goals of the Foreign Policy Strategy of Ukraine and further strengthen the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States” – the minister noted.

Kuleba told about the key tasks for the Ukrainian part of the US-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission:

prepare a reform of the Commission to make its structure more efficient and effective

– to submit for consideration by the American side the Ukrainian draft of the new Charter of Strategic Partnership

– prepare for consideration at a meeting of the Commission a plan for the transformation of Ukraine presented by Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the United States

“The transformation plan is a set of specific investment projects in Ukraine that will change our state, make it stronger, and the Strategic Partnership Commission is the tool that will allow us to consider these projects to find funding and American business partners for their implementation” –  added Dmytro Kuleba.

To remind, Ukraine and the United States will adopt a new strategic partnership charter, and will also consider a plan for Ukraine’s transformation
