U.S. President Joe Biden stated on Tuesday that the issue of lifting the ban on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons is under review.

When asked whether the U.S. would remove restrictions on Ukraine using long-range weapons in its war against Russia, Biden responded that his administration is “working on that.”

In recent weeks, Ukraine has been actively urging its allies to lift all restrictions on strikes using their long-range weapons against Russia, arguing that this would allow them to target aircraft launching cruise missiles and guided bombs.

In response, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that while long-range missiles are among the options, they are not decisive in Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Also, the Netherlands has given permission for the Ukrainian Defense Forces to fire their weapons at military targets in the rear of the Russian Federation.
