Five House Representatives have come to Ukraine in order to discuss further support for Ukraine and how it specifically helps in its fight against Russia.

The US Ambassador to Ukraine has announced this on X on July 1.

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink welcomed Chairman of the House Intel Committee Mike Turner and the bipartisan delegation including a Democrat Betty McCollum and Republicans Tony Gonzales, Ronny Jackson, and John Joyce, M.D.

The Head of the Intel Committee has told Ukrinform that he supports Jens Stoltenberg who claims Ukraine must have an opportunity to conduct retaliatory strikes inside Russia.

“My position goes further than administration’s position. I think Ukraine must be able to use the provided weapons to hit crucial military targets [in Russia],” stated Turner.

Mike Turner who is a Republican has been one of the major supporter of the US aid package for Ukraine, approved by the Congress in April.

Earlier, the US diplomat expressed her condolences to the victims of the wicked Russian attack on Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region, that killed 7 civilians, including 3 children.
