Successful tests of a new modification of the anti-tank guided missile complex, Skif, were conducted once again.

It took place in Chernihiv region.

All targets were struck successfully, the press service of the manufacturer, Kyiv State Design Bureau Luch, reported.

The missile complex has a number of technical advantages that guarantees the ability to strike moving and immobile, modern, armored targets, even those with dynamic protection armors. In addition, the missile complex is also capable of striking small-scale targets, such as long-term fire points, tanks in the trenches, lightly-armored objects and helicopters.

“The peculiarity of the complex is the possibility of launching a rocket to the target from closed positions and storage facilities, which reduces the risk of destroying the missile by enemy’s return fire. Skif is equipped with missiles with tandem cumulative and high-explosive fragmentation warheads,” the manufacturing company stressed.

The missile complex is now equipped with new thermal sight. It is designed for detection, recognition and identification of threats at longer ranges during day or night, and in adverse weather conditions. The missile itself has not changed since it was originally designed for use in all climatic and weather conditions, without exceptions.
