The United Kingdom Investigates Yet Another Russian Murder in the Country

British authorities are currently investigating the suspicious murder of Russian Businessman Nikolai Glushkov, who was found dead in his home in New Malden on March 12.

The reason of the investigation is that the post-mortem autopsy revealed that Mr Glushkov died from “compression to the neck,” which quickly raised suspicion only a few days after the murder of a former Russian spy and his daughter in Salisbury – even though the two cases are not linked at the moment.

Mr Glushkov used to be the former deputy director of the important Russian state airline Aeroflot, and spent 5 years in prison for money laundering and fraud.

Would his death reveal to be connected to the death of Sergei Skripal, the tension between London and Moscow – already at sky high – would certainly escalate again.
