“Ukrzaliznytsia” suspends ticket sales in Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr regions

By the decision of the State Commission on Manmade Disaster, Emergency Response, the sale of tickets to Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr regions is suspended.

This was reported by UATV with reference to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

UZ from March 7 to March 12 will suspend the sale of tickets to these regions. There will also be limited boarding and disembarking of passengers with already purchased tickets on dates after March 7 inclusive.

Until March 6, all passengers who purchased tickets will be able to freely reach their destination by rail.

Also, the restrictions will not apply to passengers whose tours start before 00:00 on March 7 and end during the restrictions.

“At the same time, passengers with tickets to Chernivtsi, Zhitomir and regions have access to other stations along the train route for disembarkation and landing, if these stations are outside the” red “zone,” the press service noted.

The “red” level of the epidemic danger of the spread of COVID-19 in the Zhytomyr region is introduced on March 3.
