Ukrainian satellite “Sich-2-30” will arrive in Miami on December 12 (PHOTOS)

The Sich-2-30 satellite was sent from Ukraine to the United States. On December 12, 2021, he is due to arrive at his final destination – Miami International Airport.

This was announced in a comment to Ukrinform by the chief designer of spacecraft, complexes and systems of CB “South” Konstantin Bilousov, writes UA.

He noted that after transportation, the satellite will begin preparations for launch into orbit. According to him, the launch of the spacecraft is scheduled for January 10, 2022.

“On December 8, the satellite left the territory of Ukraine and headed for the United States. He is due to arrive at the Air Force Base at Cape Canaveral, Florida next week, ”said a KB staffer.

The press service of Boryspil International Airport reported that on December 8 at 11:27 a Turkish Airlines cargo plane with the Ukrainian spacecraft Sich-2-30 on board took off for Budapest (Hungary).

“On December 12, the plane with the satellite should arrive at its final destination – Miami International Airport. After customs clearance, it will be delivered to the Kennedy Space Center to be prepared for launch and docked with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 launch vehicle” the Boryspil press service said.

To remind, Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-30, manufactured at the Pivdenne design bureau in Dnipro, successfully passed all the planned tests.
