4 years have gone already since Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea, and the Ukrainian head of government wanted to remind everyone that Ukraine has not given up.

“Four years ago, Russian troops started to occupy the Crimea. This day divided the lives of Crimeans between “before” and “after”. Thousands of people were forced to leave their homes as they didn’t want to see their land under the flag of another country than Ukraine. For four years now, we are bravely fighting to raise the Ukrainian flag over Crimea again. And we fulfill our goal! Crimea is Ukraine”, reminded the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on his Facebook page.

The annexation of Crimea provoked at the time a giant gathering organized by Tatars and pro-Ukrainian activists, who supported Ukrainian territorial integrity.
