Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko took his time to travel to eastern Ukraine in order to meet with the men who risk their lives defending Ukraine against separatists and Russian hybrid forces.
The Ukrainian President also rewarded 12 soldiers for their outstanding courage and high professionalism demonstrated in combat.
Seven of them were awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky, and five the Medal For Military Service to Ukraine.
