In Turkey, Ukrainian paratrooper fell into the sea during a paragliding flight as part of the 21st International Festival of Air Games “Oludeniz”. The athlete made a single jump from Mount Babadag, UA informs.
During the descent, her parachute fell into the sea. The Turkish Coast Guard came to the rescue. The Ukrainian woman was taken to hospital.
“The Consulate of Ukraine in Antalya has urgently contacted the organizers of the festival and the hospital to provide consular assistance to the citizen. Her health is satisfactory, there is no threat to her life. Ukrainian consuls are monitoring the rehabilitation of the injured Ukrainian” – said Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Oleh Nikolenko.
Earlier it was reported that a bus with Ukrainian tourists overturned in Turkey.
