Ukrainian Daria Bilodid won the World Judo Championship for the second time in the weight category up to 48 kg in Tokyo, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine reported.
In the semifinals, Daria brushed aside former world champion Mongolia’s Munkhbat Urantsetseg.
In the finals, the Ukrainian judoka defeated Japanese Funa Tonaki. The 18-year-old Ukrainian became a two-time world champion with this victory.
