On August 14, Ukrainian journalists from the 1+1 TV Channel managed to exclusively report from Sudzha in Kursk Oblast.

The TSN YouTube channel published it online.

Journalist Nataliia Nahorna showed the Ukrainian soldiers delivering food supplies to the local residents who were not only abandoned by their authorities but are also forced to stay in basements due to Russian bombs that keep damaging the town.

The journalist claims that their is a big difference between Russians and Ukrainians entering the town, as the latter don’t seek to destroy the town and civilians’ buildings.

“They just left, nobody even announced an evacuation. They packed their stuff and left. But how many people were left here without essential goods, without water and food,” complained one of the local residents.

The first report also captured the moment, historic moment, according to the journalist, when the Ukrainian soldiers took down the Russian flag.
