Ukrainian athletes won 2 medals at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which took place in Basel, Switzerland, UATV informs.
Anastasia Bachynska won “bronze” in exercises on the balance beam. The athlete had the status of the second reserve and was able to compete in the final due to the refusal of 2 participants. The “bronze” medal became the first award of the European Championship for the Ukrainian athlete.
At the same time, Igor Radyvylov had no equal in the vault – the gymnast from Mariupol won gold, defending his status as European champion.
Radyvylov became a four-time European champion.
Previously, hundreds of athletes from Ukraine and Europe took part in the marathon in Kyiv.
