Ukraine is preparing to join the global network of COVID-certificates, which is able to cover all countries of the world. To date, 52 countries have recognized Ukrainian COVID documents.
This was reported by UA with reference to the briefing of Deputy Minister of Health Maria Karchevych.
“At present, such access is open to Ukrainians in 52 countries that recognize our COVID certificates in ‘Diia’ application. Among them are not only European countries close to us, such as Germany, Austria, Spain, France or Portugal, but also Asian countries. For example, the Singapore authorities recently decided to accept Ukrainians with a COVID certificate. It will be followed by Thailand” – Karchevych said.
Soon having the Ukrainian COVID-certificate one will be able to visit more than 80 countries of the world.
“Ukraine is preparing to join the global network of COVID certificates, which will cover all countries of the world. The member states of the network will recognize each other’s digital documents and will not require additional COVID documents to cross the border” – the Deputy Minister added.
Thanks to this, vaccinated Ukrainians will be able to travel freely and comfortably around the world without PCR tests and self-isolation in the countries of arrival.
As of December 14, 8,109 new confirmed cases of a coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine. Among them – 707 children and 182 medical workers.
