The Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, said that cooperation with the United States has increased fourfold over the last few months.
Poroshenko was at the ceremony of the signing of an agreement between Ukrainian Raliways, Ukrzaliznytsya, and General Electric (GE), Ukrinform reported.
The president is convinced that GE’s willingness to do business in Ukraine, demonstrates Ukraine’s good reputation internationally, because GE only agrees to business deals in countries that have the opportunity for future growth and development.
“For me, this is a clear recognition of what already has been done and the confidence in what we are planning to do,” Poroshenko said.
The president said that signing the deal will bring in investments in infrastructure and process manufacturing.
