Ukraine will take an active part in the process of creating joint defense projects with NATO and the European Union, which will become part of the country’s integration into these associations. Political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko stated this today, November 30, on the air of FREEDOM TV channel.

He noted that the war unleashed by the Kremlin against Ukraine showed that the weapons and ammunition stockpiles of NATO countries are not sufficient for a long-term military conflict.

“Arsenals must be replenished. For this, it is necessary to actively and consistently expand military production. It is already being done in the USA, the process has been launched there, it has already intensified. In Europe, it happens much more slowly… First of all, it is necessary for the European countries themselves, which are part of the European Union and NATO at the same time. In fact, now it is necessary to form a modernized, renewed military production that would ensure the needs of the defense capability of the North Atlantic Alliance itself and at the same time of Ukraine, so that we can effectively conduct combat operations,” said the political scientist.

Fesenko noted that Ukraine will take an active part in this process — there are certain agreements on the creation of joint defense projects and productions.

“I think that this will also be a form of our informal or semi-official integration into NATO in the field of military production,” he said.
