Ukraine will receive $ 90 million for vaccinations from the World Bank. It is about a loan for a new project “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine”, – UATV reports.
“The World Bank has approved a new $ 90 million project to expand the Ukrainian health sector’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic”, – the bank said in a statement.
Money will be used to purchase vaccine and immunize the population. It is planned to reimburse the expenses of the National Health Service of Ukraine for vaccination of 10 million people.
The project will also help to improve logistics and infrastructure for storing coronavirus vaccines. Vaccination awareness campaign is also planned.
