Ukraine will receive $ 350 million under an agreement with the World Bank, – Shmyhal

The Ukrainian government and the World Bank signed an agreement worth $ 350 million.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal announced this in Telegram, UA reports.

According to him, the funds will be used to develop the economy during a pandemic, provide social support to vulnerable groups of the population and strengthen state institutions.

“In addition, we will be able to implement systemic projects for the fair development of the land market, continue the reform of the gas sector, and also strengthen the credit market”, – Shmyhal writes.

Earlier, the World Bank informed it will provide Ukraine with a $200 million loan for the modernization of the higher education institutions.
