Ukraine will always support the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders.
This is stated in the greeting of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, addressed to Maia Sandu on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Moldova, Office of the president informs.
The President wished the Moldovan people peace, harmony and prosperity.
“The independence of both our countries is the result of the efforts of many generations, a value that Ukraine and Moldova uphold today. I am grateful to Moldova for its constant support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and I want to assure you that Ukraine will always support the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders” – the president’s greeting said.
On August 27 Volodymyr Zelenskyy together with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda and President of Romania Klaus Johannis took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s independence in Chisinau.
As was previously reported, during his visit to the United States, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will sign three bilateral documents.
To remind, presidents of Ukraine and the United States will meet on August 31.
