Ukraine not only can, but is also obliged to strike military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. Such actions are a legitimate method of defense for Ukraine. And they will help speed up the process of surrender of the Russian Federation. This opinion was voiced by the speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Serhii Bratchuk on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“Ukraine’s allies, in particular the French, are already saying that attacks on military targets on Russian territory by Ukraine are a legitimate method of defense. That is, this is already being said by representatives of the country that until the very end tried to appease the Kremlin tyrant. The strikes that Ukraine can and, in my opinion, is obliged to deliver against military targets of the Russian Federation deep in the territory of this country will just accelerate the process of its withdrawal with the signing of an ultimatum, their complete surrender in this war,” emphasized Bratchuk.
He is confident that Russia in the format in which it exists today, as an aggressor country, simply cannot continue to be in the global security system.
“After all, we are not talking about the fact that today the Kremlin propaganda is actively working on these messages that NATO troops will sit in the Kremlin or the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be there. This is not about destroying all Russians. And that the mechanisms of functioning of the Russian state, the aggressor country, the terrorist country must change radically today. And only then can life change for the better for the Russians themselves,” the speaker noted.
In his opinion, in the fight against the aggressor today, political mechanisms fade into the background, because the Russian Federation understands only force.
“We are talking about military action, of course, with the use of possible political instruments. But they are already moving towards point two. First, Russia only understands the strength and borders of the Russian Federation end where Russia receives a hot slap in the face,” said Bratchuk.
Ukraine today needs long-range missiles in order to destroy logistics and military facilities of the enemy. So that in the end the Russian economy does not work for the war, added the guest of the broadcast.
“There are such missiles, there are weapons, and this method of war is today recognized and supported by all the leading countries of the world, almost all of Ukraine’s allies,” he noted.
Bratchuk recalled the recent events in Belgorod. The use of weapons for military purposes is already producing results, he believes.
“Russian air defense systems do not cope with their work, they are old and worn out, this is also a fact. Russian air defense kills its own citizens. And why? Because Russia started the war. Because their own air defense system today finds itself at the front, where it is being destroyed. This approach will bring us victory, and will also calm Russia for a very long time,” the guest of the broadcast concluded.
Let us recall that at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Belgorod, permanent representatives of European countries to the UN stated that only Russia and Vladimir Putin were to blame for the deaths of Russians. The shelling of Belgorod occurred on December 30.
